Story of the Song…
Here’s one that I wrote in 2004, then we started recording it in 2011 and for Whatever reason – see what I did there??? - finished it in 2025! …We frequently feature it in our live sets and really like playing it…I’m not exactly sure why I wrote it - but today I’m glad that I did as it is a tune that attempts to dispel toxicity…We hope you that you enjoy the song and wish you sincere good luck in ridding yourself of any toxicness in your life…dmc…

VERSE:
So summertime is fine
But I’m going out of my mind
Oh, what I am I going to do
Without you, without you
You either love me or you don’t
You’ll either prove it or you won’t
I can’t waste my time trying
To figure you out anymore (To CHR.)
CHORUS:
Oh, I got the hint, I’m gone, I’m so out of here
There’s nothing to interpret, no, no,
No, it’s perfectly clear
Oh, I got the hint, I’m gone, I’m so out of here
Sorry on you, sorry on you,
They’ll be your tears.
VERSE:
Strip me of emotions
I’d be the strongest son of a *****
Oh, rid me of sentimentalness
And I could be rich, so rich
Heart, you work for me
So get on back to work
Just pump the blood underneath my skin
No vacancy, no vacancy
CHORUS
Oh, I got the hint, I’m gone, I’m so out of here (Forget me – forget you)
There’s nothing to interpret, no, no,
No, it’s perfectly clear (We’re done – we’re through)
Oh, I got the hint, I’m gone, I’m so out of here (Forget you – forgive you)
Sorry on you, sorry on you,
They’ll be your tears.
SOLO (SPOKEN WORD INTRO):
I got the hint, I’m gone
I’m so out of here, Sorry On You!
CHORUS
OUTRO:
Sorry on you, sorry on you …
Sorry -on – you (Forget me – forget you)
Sorry on you, sorry on you …
Sorry -on – you (We’re done – we’re through)
Sorry on you, sorry on you …
Sorry -on – you
Sorry on you, sorry on you …
Sorry -on - you
