ABOUT THE SONG…
♪♪♪ This one is from the point of view of a child, Tommy. His parents fought an awful lot and they didn’t spend much time with him. They thought that a dog could keep him company. Certainly, the dog did… and Tommy made his own observations....
♪♪♪ Dogs are born saints and die angels. Dedicated to my current dog Autumn who is the model for the animated dog in this video. Also dedicated to our childhood dog, Ribsy, and my Boxer, Brandy, who died during the recording of this album, and Marc’s Beagle, Bailey, who passed away during the mastering of the CD. They were the best audience this songwriter could ever have – especially when I was composing new tunes. See you again, Ribsy / Brandy / Bailey at The Rainbow Bridge – until then - Good Boy! Good Girl! !
